English for IT B1 / GSE 43-58 is an English-language certification exam that tests a candidate’s ability to communicate in English in IT-related professional contexts at the intermediate level (CEFR B1, GSE 43-58).

The exam assesses the candidate’s ability to understand and use English across reading, listening, speaking, and writing tasks. It also evaluates their control of grammar, vocabulary, and functional language needed for common workplace and technical situations.

Certification holders can understand and produce lower-intermediate to intermediate English in IT contexts, including software development, project management, community management, data analysis, AI prompting, DevOps, and customer and technical support.
